Seminar “The emergence of cross-innovation systems”
We are pleased to invite you to seminar on the emergence of cross-innovation systems. The seminar will focus on how audiovisual industries are co-innovating with education, healthcare and tourism sectors.

As large digital platforms are increasingly shaping the technological frontiers in service economy, then it will tackle threats and opportunities emerging from these developments in the Baltic Sea region. What are implications of these developments for healthcare, tourism and education sectors? How should policy-makers and businesses respond to these developments?
The seminar will take place from 15:30 to 17:00 on Monday, May 27, 2019 in the seminar room of Foresight Centre (Toompea 1, Tallinn, Komandandi maja, press 3 at doorbell for Arenguseire Keskus).

In its new short report “The impact of population ageing and low birth rate on long-term state revenue and expenditure”, the Foresight Centre notes that the lower than projected birth rate will reduce government spending on family policy and education, but in the long term, it will mean up to 1.3 billion euros less in tax revenue.
